Feeding Your Cat
FAQs
In the first few weeks of life, kittens rely on their mother’s milk, which provides the essential nutrients and immune support they need before they are gradually weaned onto solid food.
Up to 12 weeks of age, kittens should be fed a complete and balanced kitten food specifically formulated to support their early growth and development.
From around 12 weeks of age, you can introduce Applaws Complementary Wet Kitten Food. However, as this is a complementary product, it should be fed alongside a complete kitten food, such as Applaws Complete & Balanced Dry Kitten Food, to help ensure your kitten receives a complete and balanced diet.
If you are ever unsure about what or how much to feed your kitten, we recommend speaking to your vet for personalised advice.
When it comes to diabetes, it’s best to ask the experts. Always speak to your vet before changing your pet’s diet.
