Allergic reactions can be extremely serious for dogs, and in rare cases even life-threatening. Once identified, the majority of allergies can be dealt with at home by removing or avoiding the offending irritant. If it’s a food allergy then a gradual change in diet will be required.
If your dog is suffering from a severe allergic reaction then you need to take them to an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
